Multiple sources is always good.
2-20A 120V circuits from the neighbors, for now.
An 8KW onan generator, although the thought has crossed my mind that a small 4 cylinder from a wrecked car would probably power it at a *much* lower RPM, and be *much* quieter, and take up hardly any additional space.
I’ve been looking at DIY solar panel kits (cells & ribbon) on ebay for mighty cheap. I’m thinking a kilowatt would be nice to start.
I have a xantrex 1500W continuous / 2500W peak inverter.
I also have a ferrups 3.1kva battery backup for a computer. I could just add 4 deepcycle batteries to that beast.

Long term project, would be to put together a 1-2 KW wind generator & tower…
